Our story

The Bee Institute is a family story with 6 generations of beekeepers - beekeeping is passed down from generation to generation, often through the female line.

Uniqueness: certificate of intangible cultural heritage for beekeeping and pottery.

It is run by Andreja and Tjaša Stankovič - biologist, beekeeper, apitherapist, tourist guides.

For 30+ years: beekeeping circles, natural science & pottery workshops, education about medicinal plants.

Goal: a living center of heritage and nature, where visitors can feel the peace, health and power of bees.
